Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Coquí ("Coquí," "we," "us," "our") operates this website and provides custom operations-portal and workflow services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and how we use, share, and protect it, and the choices and rights you have.

Scope. This policy covers our website and related marketing activities (such as our contact and intake forms, scheduling tool, and email communications). It does not cover data we handle inside a client engagement. Information processed as part of delivering our services to you — including any protected health information (PHI) or other regulated data — is governed separately by your written service agreement and any applicable Business Associate Agreement (BAA) or Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Please do not submit PHI or other sensitive regulated data through this website. Our website forms are intended for general business inquiries only. Any PHI is handled exclusively within an executed engagement and under the safeguards required by HIPAA and your BAA — not through this site.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form or intake form, schedule a call, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include: your name, work email address, phone number, company name, role, the platforms and tools you use, your stated goals, budget range, and the content of your message.

Scheduling information. If you book a call or audit with us, our scheduling provider (e.g., Calendly) collects the details needed to book and manage the appointment, such as your name, email address, selected time, time zone, and any information you add to the booking form. This information is processed by that provider on our behalf and is also subject to the provider's own privacy policy.

Email and marketing information. If you sign up to receive updates, or if you become a contact through an inquiry, we may collect your email address and engagement data (such as whether you opened or clicked an email) to send and improve our communications. You can unsubscribe at any time (see "Your choices" below).

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we may automatically collect limited technical and usage data through standard web server logs and analytics, if enabled, such as your IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type and device information, referring pages, and the pages you visit.

Cookies and similar technologies. Our site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and, if enabled, analytics. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiry and communicate with you;
  • scope, schedule, and deliver our services, including audits and calls;
  • send you administrative messages and, where permitted, marketing or update emails you can opt out of;
  • understand and improve the performance and content of our website; and
  • comply with our legal, tax, and contractual obligations and protect our rights.

We do not use website-collected information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you through solely automated means.

How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us operate, such as website hosting, email and marketing platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics providers, and only to the extent they need it to perform services for us. These providers are contractually limited to using the information for our purposes.
  • Legal and protective reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Coquí, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. (Note: if Coquí later enables advertising-related cookies or pixels — e.g., Google Analytics advertising features, or a Meta/LinkedIn pixel — this statement should be revisited, as such activity can legally constitute a "sale" or "share" requiring an opt-out mechanism.)

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have specific rights regarding your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA.

Categories of personal information we collect. In the past 12 months, through this website we may have collected the following categories:

  • Identifiers (e.g., name, email address, phone number, IP address);
  • Customer records / contact information (e.g., name, phone number, employer);
  • Commercial information (e.g., services you inquired about);
  • Internet or network activity (e.g., pages visited, interactions with our site and emails), if analytics are enabled;
  • Professional or employment information (e.g., company name, your role);
  • Geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address), if analytics are enabled.

Sources. We collect this information directly from you, automatically through your use of our site, and from our service providers (such as our scheduling and email tools).

Purposes. We use these categories for the business purposes described in "How we use your information."

Your California rights. Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to:

  • Know / access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by law);
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information (note: we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information beyond purposes permitted without a limitation right); and
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights. Submit a request by emailing info@coqui.co. We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against our records and may ask for additional information to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may require proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your identity.

Data retention

We keep inquiry, scheduling, and engagement information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet our legal, tax, and business obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. Marketing contact information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to applicable recordkeeping needs.

Your choices

  • Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, or by emailing info@coqui.co. We may still send you non-promotional messages about an active engagement.
  • Access, correction, and deletion. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have submitted by contacting info@coqui.co. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law.
  • Cookies. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not function as intended.

Cookies and analytics

This site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and, if enabled, analytics that help us understand and improve site performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals.

Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party sites or services we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at info@coqui.co and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and where appropriate we will provide additional notice.
